Weekly Office Yoga Sessions for Teams
A structured programme built around real workplace conditions — desk posture, screen fatigue, and the rhythm of a working day.
Office yoga works within the constraints of a working day — not against them.
Most office workers spend six to eight hours a day in the same position. That takes a real toll on the neck, shoulders, and lower back over time.
These weekly sessions are held directly in your workplace, using whatever space is available, whether that is a meeting room, a cleared breakout area, or even a larger corridor. No special equipment is needed. Participants work in comfortable clothing or even office attire for chair-based sequences. Each session runs for 45 minutes and is structured so people can join and leave without disrupting the flow.
The classes are adapted to mixed fitness levels. Someone who has never done yoga sits alongside a colleague who practises regularly, and both get something useful from the session. The instructor, Bridget Calloway, has worked with office groups for over seven years and understands that most participants are not looking to become yogis. They want to feel less stiff and more settled by the afternoon.
Bookings are arranged on a monthly rolling basis, with the option to pause during busy periods. Invoicing is straightforward and can be directed to HR or finance teams.

Programme Structure
What a typical week looks like
Session One
- Opening breathwork - 5 minutes of guided breathing to shift out of task mode
- Seated spinal sequence - chair-based movements targeting the mid and lower back
- Standing desk stretches - shoulder rolls, neck releases, and hip openers done beside a wall or desk edge
- Closing wind-down - 5 minutes of stillness before returning to work
Session Two (where booked twice weekly)
- Floor sequence option - for those comfortable on a mat, gentle hip and hamstring work
- Wrist and forearm care - targeted for keyboard-heavy roles
- Balance and grounding poses - simple standing postures that build body awareness
- Group breathing close - a brief collective pause to finish together
Each month the instructor rotates the focus area based on feedback from the group. January might emphasise posture, March might focus on stress-related tension patterns. The content stays relevant rather than repetitive.
